Send Transaction via Telegram Wallet

The easiest way to send your first transaction.

Open TeQoin Wallet

Open @TeQoinWalletBot in Telegram

Tap 'Send'

On the main wallet screen, tap “Send” or “Transfer”

Enter Details

Fill in the transaction details:

To Address: Enter the recipient’s wallet address
Amount: Enter the amount of ETH to send (e.g., 0.01)

Test Transaction: Send a small amount first (like 0.001 ETH) to make sure everything works!

Review and Confirm

Review the transaction:

✅ Recipient address is correct
✅ Amount is correct
✅ Network shows “TeQoin L2”

Tap “Confirm” or “Send”

Transaction Sent!

✅ Your transaction is sent!You’ll see:

Transaction hash (TX ID)
Status updates in real-time
Confirmation in ~5 seconds

Get Transaction Hash

In the Telegram wallet, tap on the transaction to see detailsCopy the transaction hash (starts with 0x...)

Open Block Explorer

Visit https://explorer.teqoin.ioOr tap “View on Explorer” in the wallet

View Details

See complete transaction information:

✅ Block number
✅ Timestamp
✅ Gas used
✅ From/To addresses

Send Transaction via MetaMask

Send your first transaction using MetaMask wallet.

Open MetaMask

Click the MetaMask extension in your browser
Make sure you’re connected to TeQoin L2 network
Check that you have testnet ETH balance

Click 'Send'

On the main MetaMask screen, click “Send”

Enter Recipient Address

Paste the recipient’s wallet address:

Should start with 0x
42 characters total

Double-check the address! Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

Send to yourself: You can send ETH to your own address as a test. Just copy your address and paste it as the recipient!

Enter Amount

Enter the amount of ETH to send:

Example: 0.01 ETH
Or use the “Max” button to send your entire balance

MetaMask will show:

Amount in ETH
Approximate USD value (if available)
Gas fee estimate

Review Transaction

Review the transaction details:

To: Recipient address
Amount: How much you’re sending
Gas Fee: Very low on TeQoin L2!
Total: Amount + Gas Fee

Everything looks good? Click “Next”

Confirm Transaction

Final confirmation screen:

Review one last time
Click “Confirm”
MetaMask will sign and broadcast the transaction

Transaction Sent!

✅ Transaction submitted!MetaMask shows:

Pending status (brief - usually 5 seconds)
Success status (after confirmation)
Transaction hash

Click “View on block explorer” to see details

Understanding the Transaction

What is a transaction hash?

A transaction hash (or TX hash) is a unique identifier for your transaction.

Starts with 0x
66 characters long
Example: 0x8551993d9c5625bc8e3e75afc58c0aa2998f95be9eb9bd033875157ce900afe8

Think of it like a tracking number for packages - you can use it to track your transaction on the block explorer.

What are gas fees?

Gas fees are the cost to process your transaction on the blockchain.On TeQoin L2:

Gas fees are very low (usually < $0.01)
Much cheaper than Ethereum L1 ($5-50+)
Paid in ETH automatically from your balance

Why is it so fast?

TeQoin L2 produces blocks every 5 seconds, compared to Ethereum’s 12-15 seconds.This means your transaction confirms in:

🔍 Verify Your Transaction

Check that your transaction was successful on the block explorer.

Copy Transaction Hash

From your wallet:

Telegram Wallet: Tap transaction → Copy hash
MetaMask: Click “View on explorer” or copy hash from activity

Open Block Explorer

Visit https://explorer.teqoin.io

Search Transaction

Paste your transaction hash in the search bar and press Enter

View Transaction Details

You should see:

Field	Description
Status	✅ Success (green checkmark)
Block	Block number where transaction was included
Timestamp	When transaction was confirmed
From	Your wallet address
To	Recipient address
Value	Amount sent
Transaction Fee	Gas cost (very low!)
Gas Used	Computational resources used

🔧 Troubleshooting

Transaction is pending for a long time

TeQoin L2 transactions should confirm in ~5 seconds.If stuck on pending:

Wait 30 seconds
Refresh your wallet
Check the block explorer with your TX hash
Check network status: https://status.teqoin.io

If still pending after 1 minute, join our Discord for support.

'Insufficient funds' error

You don’t have enough ETH to cover the amount + gas fee.Solution:

Check your balance
Try sending a smaller amount
Get more testnet ETH from the faucet

Transaction failed

If your transaction shows “Failed” status:Common reasons:

Insufficient gas limit (rare on simple transfers)
Smart contract execution error (if interacting with contracts)
Out of gas

Solution:

Check the error message on block explorer
Try the transaction again
If interacting with a contract, check contract documentation

Wrong network - sent on Ethereum instead

If you accidentally sent on Ethereum L1:Prevention:

Always verify you’re on TeQoin L2 before sending
Check the network name in your wallet

If already sent on L1:

Your ETH is safe, just on the wrong network
Switch to Ethereum L1 in your wallet to see it
Use the bridge to move it to TeQoin L2

Recipient didn't receive ETH

If the recipient says they didn’t receive the ETH:Check:

View transaction on block explorer - does it show “Success”?
Did you send to the correct address?
Is the recipient checking the right network (TeQoin L2)?

If transaction succeeded, the ETH was delivered. Recipient needs to:

Switch to TeQoin L2 network in their wallet
Refresh their wallet

Same Address Everywhere: Your wallet address is the same on Ethereum L1, TeQoin L2, and all EVM chains. The ETH just lives on different networks!
